Research Abstract

1.YBCO膜の大面積化や線材化には、大面積の基体やテ-プ状、線形状の基板が必要で、これらを単結晶で作製することは難しい。このため、大面積基板や線状基板の作製が容易な多結晶基板上への高Tc、高Jc膜の合成が期待されている。本研究では、化学気相析出(CVD)法により析出温度650ー900℃でYSZ,MgOおよびAl_2O_3の多結晶基板上にYBCO膜の合成を行い、得られた膜の結晶配向性、膜組織およびTcやJcS磁場中での超伝導特性を調べた。
2.CVD原料には、Ba、YおよびCuのβージケトン金属錯体を用いた。基板には鏡面研磨した8mol%Y_2O_3安定化ZrO_2(YSZ)、MgOおよびAl_2O_3の多結晶基板(10×5×1mm^3)を使用した。析出温度650〜900℃で成膜を行った。析出時間は1時間とした。析出終了後、inーsitu酸素処理を行った。
3.650℃から900℃で各基板上に析出した膜の厚さはほとんど変化がなく、ほぼ1μmであった。YSZおよびMgO基板上に800℃以上で得られた膜は、主にc軸が基板に垂直に配向したYBa_2Cu_3O_yから構成されていた。Al_2O_3上に作製された膜においては、析出温度850℃でBaAl_2O_4のピ-クが認められ、基板と膜が反応することが明らかになった。
最もTc(R=0)の高かった膜は、YSZ、MgO上では、850℃で析出したもの、Al_2O_3上では800℃で析出したものであった。YSZ基板上の膜でTc(R=0)は90K、MgO上の膜で87K、Al_2O_3上で71Kであった。YSZおよびMgO上の試料について77.3K、0TでのJcはYSZとMgOの多結晶基板上の膜でそれぞれ8.6×10^3と1.0×10^4 A/cm^2であった。15TにおいてもMgO上およびYSZ上の膜でそれぞれ27と44A/cm^2のJcが測定された。今後、多結晶基板上のCVD膜を長尺線材などの実用に結び付けるためにJcの値をより一層単結晶基板上の膜の値に近づける必要があり、YBCOの結晶配向性の制御に関する研究が重要と考えられる。
