Research Abstract	1.骨系統疾患の病因に関する基礎的研究. 骨形成不全症の特徴である易骨折性の原因の一つは著明な骨萎縮にある.骨幹部皮質骨の形成には,外骨膜の関与が大であるため,その形態学的観察をおこなってきた.観察した症例は増加したが,どの症例においても毛細血管,細動脈などの微細血管の内皮細胞の特異的な肥厚,血管基底膜の形態,構成コラ-ゲン線形の形態や分布異常などが認められた.これらは虚血性循環障害の原因となりうる可能性がある.培養骨膜細胞の増殖は活発で,アルカリフォ-スファタ-ゼ染色でも活性が認れられた.骨系統疾患の一つであるCoffinーLowry症候群に関する研究では,本疾患がcalcium pyrophosphate dihydrate crystal deposition diseaseの一つで,同時にコラ-ゲンとプロテオグリカンの代謝異常でもある可能性が明らかになった. 2.骨,軟骨に関する基礎的研究. 軟骨細胞のクレアチンキナ-ゼに関する研究ではCKーBが軟骨の成長に関連をもっていることが判明した.また軟骨から骨組織への移行時に,CKーB,Sー100タンパクが増加することが明らかになった. 3.骨系統疾患の治療に関する実験的研究. 髄内釘が刺入されている長管骨(骨形成不全症患児を想定)に磁気刺激を加えて骨形成を促進しようとする目的で,大髄骨にキルシュナ-鋼線を刺入したラットを使用した.刺激条件を種々に変更して実験を続けてきたが,有意の結果はまだ得られていない.
