Research Abstract	主に4つの問題点から研究を進めており、各領域で新たに得た成果は次の通りである。 1.受容器の動的構造:ショウジョウバエの視覚突然変異体で複眼視細胞の感杆微絨毛膜(光受容部位)の再生過程に細胞内膜系のSRCが関与することを立証し、甲殻類で感杆絨毛の骨格構造がFーアクチンで構成されることを初めて明らかにした。 2.高次情報伝達の素過程:直翅目昆虫で尾葉の機械感覚系に連なる上行性巨大ニュ-ロンが歩行・飛翔行動の発現に関与することを確認した。鱗翅目昆虫の視覚系では、赤受容器と紫外線受容器からの情報が、緑・青・菫色受容器からの収束伝達路とは独立した2経路によって2次中枢の視髄へ伝達することを示し、その嗅覚系では、フェロモン受容によって発生する特定の前大脳ニュ-ロンのインパルス群が、翅のはばたき運動を駆動することを証明した。 3.感覚情報伝達路の可塑化:環形動物ユムシで27種類の神経ペプチドを同定し、その多くが軟体・節足動物の神経ペプチドに類似することを発見した。また、羽化直後のハエが示す視覚パタ-ン認識機構の編成に関与する視葉内の生体アミン類を検出した。さらに、アフリカツメガエルのキメラを構成する2種の味受容系で、苦味受容に特異的な差があることを確認した。 4.異種感覚間の相互作用:ミツバチの1次嗅覚中枢の触角葉で、一部の介在ニュ-ロンが湿度感覚情報と匂い情報を同時に処理することを発見した。また、甲殻類の脳内のノンスパイキング巨大ニュ-ロンが、複眼および平衡器からの感覚入力ばかりか、歩脚の自己受容器からの入力も統合処理することを見出した。 5.班会議と研究集会:今年度の成果を検討する班会議を開き、同時に研究分担者以外にも多数の参加を得てセミナ-『昆虫の脳を探る』を催したが、これらの会合は本総合研究を進める上で非常に有益であった。
