Research Abstract

本総合研究(A)は3年度の最終年度にあたり、研究成果の集約のために、平成5年11月5日、東京大学教養学部において研究分担の本年度の内容について、中間報告、質疑応答をおこなった。11月6日、同場所にて公開シンポジウムをかねた公開の研究班会議を開催した。これらの会議での、評価、批判をもとに、また、総合研究三年度全体にわたる研究成果をまとめ報告書を作成した。細胞接着因子シグナルのうち、本研究で取り上げているものは細胞外マトリックス成分とそれらに対する細胞接着受容体である。コラーゲンおよびラミニン分子形成におけるシャペロンの機能(永田、北川)、線維芽細胞が有するコラーゲンに特異的な相互作用とその機構(吉里、林利彦)、新しい〓型コラーゲンα鎖(二宮、今村)、ヒトラミニン分子を構成するM鎖の構造と機能(永井)、ビトロネクチンの機能と細胞接着(林正男)、新規の細胞接着因子として、フォンビルブランド因子プロポリペプチド(斉藤)、糖鎖認識を利用した新しい細胞接着因子の設計(赤池)動物レクチンrkCBP18(藤本)、さらに細胞接着抑制機構として、テネイシン(坂倉)、コンドロイチン硫酸(木全)など新しい知見が得られた。一方、細胞表面上の受容体に関連しては、インテグリンα5β1の認識特異性(関口)、フィブロネクチン受容体プロテオグリカンのリン酸化(岡山)、細胞表面にも存在し糖鎖にも結合するアネキシン(松本)など、新しい視点を持つべき成果が得られた。サイトカインの細胞接着などに及ぼす影響として、IL-6によるインテグリン発現(西田)、HGFと肝組織化(中村)、フィブロネクチン-FGF融合蛋白質の機能(矢追)、さらに、血管細胞の遊走とエラスチン、V型コラーゲン(大山)、骨形成因子の作用におけるマトリックス役割(久保木)、マトリックス構築形成(畑)、癌細胞の接着機構(伊勢村)など、世界に先んじる成果を得た。
