| Research Abstract |
リンポポ帯では、チャノッカイトは常に剪断帯や衝上断層の上盤に分布しており、グラニュライト相の岩石のそれとは明らかに異なる。本研究ではチャノッカイトは剪断を受けた高変成岩から由来する流体(水の活動度の低い)により形成されたものと想定している。したがって、マントルなどからのCO_2の特別な流入は必要ではない。当該年度ではX(CO_2)の変化を縞状鉄鉱層を用いて、水の活動度がどの様に変成過程で低下するのかを化学平衡論的に明らかにした。これに付随して、Rb/SrとSm/Ndの同位体比の測定に必要な試料の調整を行い、本学設置の質量分析計にて、珪長質片麻岩、チャノッカイト、それにグラニュライトの同位体的・年代的な違いを調べく準備中である。また、顕微鏡用加熱・冷却台による流体包有物の組成分析を行い、珪長質片麻岩、チャノッカイト、それにグラニュライトで差異がないかを調べた。これによると、流体組成(CO_2に乏しい)には差異はなく、化学平衡論的に推定できる酸素分圧はチャノッカイトの方が高いことが判明した。したがって、CO_2の流入による脱水(輝石生成)反応の促進は認められなかった。代りに剪断帯に特有の流体圧低下に伴う脱水反応が支持される。
