| Research Abstract |
本年度は三畳紀小型有孔虫の化石層位学的意義の検討と,ペルム紀有孔虫群との関係,特に系統進化に関する資料収拾のための野外調査を主目的に行った。また最終年度でもあるので,これまで解明した日本各地ならびに北アメリカ,東南アジアなど国外産のものについても,分類学的に整理して総括を試みた。
野外調査は三畳系ならびにペルム系の石灰岩・チャート露出地域で小型有孔虫のサンプリングと層序の検討を行った。山口県美祢郡秋芳町に広く分布する秋吉台石灰岩の最上部,岐阜県大垣市赤坂町に露出する赤坂石灰岩,長野県・山梨県境に分布する中生層のメランジェ堆積物中のペルム紀ならびに三畳紀石灰岩,さらに足尾山地葛生地域の三畳系チャートなどを対象とした。得られたサンプルは薄片ならびに酸処理によって処理され,室内作業が行われている。これらの室内作業の完了までにはかなりの日時を要する。これまで判明した主要点は,三畳系では中部から上部にかけて,かなり豊富な有孔虫化石群が解析され,中国南部や東南アジアのマレーシア北西部などのものと類似性が明かとなった。さらに,トルコやからイランの中近東地域から欧州アルプスにかけての広い海域で安定した内容の化石群の存在が具体的になってきた。またペルム紀有孔虫との系統についてもEndothridaeやArchaediscidae,Ammodiscidaeの子孫型が三畳紀のもので解明されつつある。これらは古生代から中生代にかけての有孔虫の変遷に多くの示唆を与えると見られる。
