| Research Abstract |
(1)distanceーregular graphについて
鈴木と彼の学生平木により、intersection diagramを用いたcircuit chasingの手法が格段に進んだ。これにより、distanceーregular graphsのparamatersの関係が新たに色々発見され、低い次数のdistanceーregular graphsの分類問題のへ組合せ論本側面から寄与しつつある。
maximal distance 〓_d(x)の構造による特徴付けは、dが小さい時(例えば、d=2,〓_d(x)【similar or equal】H(2,q),J(v,2))又はk_dが小さい時(例えば〓_d(x)【similar or equal】Petersengroph)、分類出来るまで研究が進んだ。まだ論文にはしていないが、いずれ近いうちまとめて表発することになろう。(鈴木,平木,宗政etc。)
(2)non symmetric(P and Q)ーpolynomial schemesについて
伊藤,野村,Leonardにより完全な分類が終った。(ただしgirth【greater than or equal】9を仮定する。)この分類は、はじめ低い次数について伊藤がやり(未発表)、その手法を野村が更に押し進め、伊藤の提出した予想を解決し、最後にLeonardが分類し非存在定理)にこぎ
(3)commutative association schemesについて
伊藤により(生田、宗政、山田との共同研究)ガウス和、ヤコビ和を用いたamorphous schemeの研究がなされた。特にGlois ring上のある種のamorphous schemesの分類に成巧し、副産物として新しいamorphous schemesを発見した。このamorphous schemesは、LieblerーMenaによって構成されたdistance regular directed graph of girth4と密接な関係を持ち、上記研究(2)とも関連する。この研究で主要な役割を果したガウス和は(ただしGlois ring上のガウス和)P進ガンマ画数と深くかかわっており、整数論の方のGrossーKobkityの定理に対応する何らかの組合せ論的対象があるものと予想される。又最近、高嶋による擬似乱数の研究ともかかわりあいが深いことが分り、こちらの方面への応用が将来ひらけるかも知れない。
