| Research Abstract |
平成3年度には,予定通り画像処理用パ-ソナルコンピュ-タ-,およびレ-ザ-プリンタ-を購入した。現在これらの設備とメインフレ-ム,SEMなどのデバイスのネットワ-クを構築中である。また,現在,デ-タ蓄積装置としてレ-ザ-ディスクなどの装置利用の可能性を,名古屋大学大型計算機センタ-の設備を利用して検討中である。また,微化石抽出用試料として西南日本内帯の美濃帯に分布する。複数の時代の違うマンガン炭酸塩ノジュ-ルを採取し,現在その処理を行っている。放散虫化石群集の時代の精度を高めるために,採取と同時に,産地付近の詳細な地質調査を行った。
今後の研究予定としては,
1.獲られた放散虫化石画像デ-タに様々な処理(例えば,POREの粒度分布計測,面積測定,シェ-ディング補正,エッジ強調,フィルタリング,濃度変換)を施すことにより,放散虫の形態の時代的変化を数値化し,その時代的変化を追う。
2.いくつかの属(例えば,Tripocyclia,Xiphostylus,Eucyrtidiellum)に対し,上記の処理を行い,放散虫の進化の傾向を押さえる。
3.得られた結果を理解しやすい形で表示し,他の研究結果と対比する。
