Research Abstract |
THIS RESEARCH IS A BASIC STUDY OF MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION IN THE SOCIAL STUDIES. IN COMING OF GLOBAL AGE, MULTICULTURAL CONDITIONS IN JAPANESE SOCIETY HAVE BEEN PROGRESSING. IN SUCH MULTICULTURAL SOCIETY, MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION BECOME A GREAT EDUCATIONAL TASK FOR COEXISTENCE AND COOPERATION OF PEOPLE FROM DIFFERENT CULTURES. IN THIS RESEARCH, I CONSIDERED MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION IN WESTERN SOCIETY AS A THINKING MODEL, AND OFFERD SOME PERSPECTIVES FOR THINKING SOCIAL STUDIES IN JAPAN.
