Research Abstract

1.気体中の強い衝撃波の構造:(1)空気中で衝撃マッハ数20〜26における衝撃波厚さを、レーザー・シュリーレン法を用いて測定した。衝撃マツハ数10まで測定したAlsmeyerのデータよりやや薄い傾向にあることが分かった。(2)空気中の強い衝撃波背後の解離反応に伴う分子振動エネルギーの損失量を基礎過程から推量し、修正式を導いた。マッハ数20の窒素に対する衝撃波背後の温度履歴について,これを用いた計算結果は実験の結果とよく一到した。従来の理論に比べて、振動温度は強く抑制される。(3)分子論に基づくDSMC法に適用するための強い衝撃波での分子回転エネルギーの励起過程に関して、量子論にもとづく新しい手法を開発した。(4)ヒルベルト空間における単調作用素の理論とモツト・スミス解の性質を用い、ボルツマン方程式の線形方程式の解の存在証明と解の評価を与えた。
2.進行衝撃波の物体との干渉:(1)炭酸ガス中の分散波の円柱からの反射に関して、衝撃波厚さと円柱直径の比が反射波のパターンを決める主要なパラメータであることが分かった。(2)進行衝撃波が二つの連続した鈍角コーナーを回折するとき、その衝撃波形状は相以形にならない。
3.凝縮媒体中の衝撃波の構造:(1)He II中での熱衝撃波のレーザー・ホログラフィー干渉計による観測が試みられ、観測可能制性が示された。熱衝撃波観測用の超伝導温度センサーの開発に成功した。余り強くない熱衝撃波においては、伝播に伴う波形変形がバーガース理論と比較的よく一致する。(2)液体アルゴン中の衝撃波構造に対して分子動力学法による解析がなされ、衝撃マッハ数1.25〜4.0の範囲の衝撃波構造を明らかにした。
