Research Abstract

本年度に得られた主要な成果は、以下の通りである。尚、平成5年11月30日〜12月1日に行われた班研究会の講演要旨は、既に小冊子として印刷されている。
1.高密度中性クラスターの発生:中性化した炭素クラスター10量体の実験を続行し、ほぼ限界の10^8個/cm^3の高密度化に至っており、状態分析に着手できる見通しがついた。(都立大グループ)
2.トラップ中に閉じ込められたクラスターの反応:RFトラップ中に炭素一珪素混合クラスターイオンを閉じ込め、酸素との反応を調べ、非常に興味ある結果を得ている。(都立大グループ)
3.高密度メゾ粒子の高感度分光:自由空間に浮遊するメゾ粒子の高感度分光、さらに、固体マトリックス中に閉じ込められたクラスターによるラマン散乱について大きな進展があった。(神戸大グループ)
4.質量分析法の精密化・高度化と多彩なメゾ粒子状態の研究:2成分クラスターの精密レーザー分光(慶応大グループ)、希ガス及び分子クラスターの反応性(東大グループ)、スパッター法によるクラスター生成と質量分析(阪大グループ)、メゾ粒子の凝集と解離(中央大グループ)に関して大きな進展があった。
5.炭素クラスターの成長過程:フラーレン、金属内包籠状炭素カプセル、炭素単層チューブ等の構造と成長のメカニズムに関して多くの知見が得られた。(都立大、三重大グループ)
