Research Abstract

種々の複雑な系が示す協力現象について、以下の成果が得られた。
1]量子ピン系:汎用性が高められた、数値的対角化法のプログラムパッケージを新たに作成し、これを用いて1次元反強磁性体のハルデン相に対する次近接相互作用や不純物効果を明らかにした(利根川)。フラストレーションを含む系に対する量子モンテカルロ法に関して、負符号問題を著しく軽減する新たな手法の開発に成功を収めた(西森)。また、不純物を含むスピン系の量子モンテカルロ法を確立し(宮下)、さらに、計算物理の手法とCAM理論などの解析的理論を組合せることにより、種々のスピン系の特異な振舞いの機構を明らかにした(鈴木)。
2]ランダムスピン系:希薄磁性合金においてスピングラス(以下SG)相転移が有限温度で出現し得ることを含め、サイトランダムなSG模型におけるSG秩序の形成過程の詳細が明らかにされた(松原)。また、3次元XYおよびハイゼンベルクSGにおけるカイラル相転移の存在を強く示唆する数値解析がなされた(川村)。さらに、イジングおよびハイゼンベルグSG模型における臨界緩和現象(スローダイナミックス)の詳細が明らかにされ(高山)、また、磁場中のSG転移の有無について精度の高い検証がなされた(鈴木)。
3]その他の複雑な系:強制振動子法がフラクタル反強磁性体のマグノン励起や導波管中のフォトン局在の問題に適用され(中山)、さらに、量子スピン系の解析にも適用された(西森)。多自由度量子カオス系の散逸発生に関して、これを散逸が系の内部で発生する状態への相転移として理解できることが示された(池田)。また、大域結合カオス系における位相空間のクラスタリングや拡散型結合カオス系における進行波の発生など種々の新しい描像、現象が明らかにされた(金子)。
