Research Abstract

1.礁池のマイクロアトールの成長過程をモデルとして、住み込み連鎖の多種共存促進機構としての意義を検証した(西平)。2.落葉分解にともなう土壌動物群集の変化を、主にトビムシ類の分解に伴う食性の変化を中心に調べ、個体群動態の様相を解明した(武田)。3.サンゴ群集では遷移の進行にともなう種多様性の低下が比較的緩慢で、成長の速い種が撹乱に弱く、種多様性が維持されることがわかった(酒井)。4.マルハナバチギルド送粉系の共進化を、2地点間で比較した。花の3次元構造の解析法を確立し、淘汰は送粉者よりも花に対して強く作用していることがわかった(井上民)。5.同じく送粉系のフェノロジーの対応関係を解明し、絶滅危惧植物カワラノギクの送粉系も解明した(井上健)。6.地中営巣性のカリバチ各種の巣の分布と巣を中心にした群集を作用中心散在の視点から調査分析した(遠藤)。7.タンガニイカ湖産鱗食魚の左右性の比率は頻度依存選択によって振動しながら等比率に維持されていることを、数理モデルと現地調査によって実証した(堀)。8.湖底の動物群集の分布様式と、酸化層と還元層の化学平衡との関係を野外実験で調べ、小型底生動物の生息場所の維持形成作用を解明した(竹門)。9.わが国のカッコウと宿主の間の特異な共存関係を、宿主の拓卵拒否行動の進化を取入れた個体群動態モデルを提出して、定量的に示した(重定)。10.熱帯陸上およびサンゴ礁生物群集、シロアリ共生系のおよび一般食物網の発達促進機構を理論モデルを用いて明らかにした。●11.淡水生物を中心に、条件的でかつ曖昧な種間相互作用を解析して、多種共存に対する役割の解明した。生物群集の複合性が、生物多様性を促進させる機構について考察し、持論の「関係の総体論」は、進化史的観点において論理的根拠を持ち、かつ重要であることを指摘した(川那部)。
