Research Abstract	SHIV:実験用サルに感染・発症させるHIV-1の作成を目的として、新たにSIVmacとのキメラウイルス6株を作成し、その1株をカニクイ・アカゲザルに接種したところ、感染効率がよく、今後の発症が期待される(速水)。 SIV:新たに入手したSIVmac株をアカゲザル9頭に接種したところ、1頭で神経異常を認め死亡した。エイズ脳症のモデルと期待され、脳から分離されたウイルスの解析を行っている(向井)。 FIV:FIV遺伝子のORF-AとLTR内のAP-1結合部位のウイルス増殖への関与、及びネコ細胞におけるRev遺伝子機能、FIV遺伝子発現へのヘルペスウイルス遺伝子の関与を明らかにした。このようにネコエイズを起こすFIVの遺伝子機能の理解が進んだ(見上)。マウスエイズ:IFN-γとIL-10とが、免疫応答不全に関与すること及び非受容体型チロシンキナーゼ(Btk)が関与するB細胞が発症に重要であることが示唆された。現在その解析を進めている(等)。 HIVトランスジェニックマウス:全遺伝子をもつマウスへのLPSもしくはSEBなどのスーパー抗原の投与により、TNF-αやIL-6発現の亢進に伴いHIVの発現が上昇した。またヒトCD4導入マウスと掛け合わせたところ、CD4細胞が減少した。このことはこのマウスが未発達キャリアーのモデルとなりうることを示す(岩倉)。
