Research Abstract

この総合研究は、広領域の研究者が協力し、生命現象をつかさどる基本原理を徹底的に検討することを目標に進められている。したがって、研究会は重要な行事の一つで、平成5年7月15日から17日に研究会を開いた。まず、研究代表者自身が「不均質系としてのモデル生体膜」と題して、モデル生体膜を例に生命現象で起っている階層性と不決定性に関する基調講演を行い、引続いて木下修一氏が「結晶成長とレーザー」、馬篭信之氏が「油水界面の界面運動の制御とその機構」、高橋浩氏が「生体膜における表在性膜タンパク質と膜の結合は鍵と鍵穴の関係か?」、川久保達之氏が「ランダム振動から方向性のある滑り運動の発現」、上田哲男氏が「解糖系の複雑なパターンダイナミクス:階層性?」、平倉穣氏が「神経振動子間の動的リンキングによる"図"と"地"を伴ったパターン認識」、沢田康次氏が「生体の階層性とスケーリング」、羽生義郎氏が「ハエ視細胞での光順応過程」、甲斐昌一氏の「根の成長に見られる階層性とバイオフォトン」、武者利光氏の「睡眠中の脳波解析をめぐって」、北原和夫氏の「流体・反応拡散系の非平衡空間相関」、岩澤宏氏の「生体系の多重階層性に関する-考察II-生体系の情報力学へ向けて-」、松野孝一郎氏の「分子の目から見た生命現象:消費者の役割」についての講演があった。いずれの場合も、活発な討論が展開され、実り多い研究会となった。その議論から、本年度の残りの時間に、より密接な関連があるサブグループに分かれて、研究活動を進めていくことになった。その一貫として、北原和夫氏を中心にして、非平衡系現象解析のプログラム開発を行なわれ、松野孝一郎氏を中心にして、不決定性の定量評価に関する研究が進められ、平川一美氏を中心にして、心電図の長時間データ採集法に関する研究が進められ、上田哲男氏を中心にして、細胞知覚における階層性に関する研究が進められ、清水博氏を中心にして、脳における自己秩序形成に関する研究がそれぞれ進められた。
