| Research Abstract |
人間がもっている感性やイメージを物理的デザインに具体化する技術を[感性工学]という。感性工学手法には、「感性からデザインへ」の前向き感性工学と、「デザインから感性評価、診断へ」の逆向き感性工学とがあり、両方とも開発が行われている。本研究は逆向き感性工学に係わる研究を目的としており、デザイン要素から感性評価を行う技術については、平成4年度の重点領域研究で実現している。
本年度は開発者がコンピュータ上で作成してデザインの形状認識を行い、その合成されたイメージが、人間の感性やイメージの点でどの感性に特性化されているかを診断・評価するシステムの開発を行った。
デザインの対象としては住環境における玄関ドアを取り上げ、ドアに関する細部デザイン要素の認識ができるようにコンピュータを知能化することで、感性的デザイン決定の効率化を実現した。
本年度の研究成果
1.感性デザインの認識システムの基礎研究
平成4年度の研究でデザインから感性への逆翻訳システムの基礎概念を設計した。本年度はコンピュータのディスプレイ上に描いた画像を認識する基礎的知能化について研究し、基本アルゴリズムを開発した。
2.住環境玄関ドアの基礎的デザインの収集
適用する感性デザインを住環境玄関ドアとし、実際の住環境でどのようなデザインが用いられているかについて、多くの実例を基にデザインのタイプの分類調査を行った。
3.住環境玄関ドア画像認識システムの開発
画像認識システムの基礎的研究の知見を住環境玄関ドアに拡張し、デザインがコンピュータ上で描く画像を認識するシステムの開発を行った。
