| Research Abstract |
ゲルマニウム-ゲルマニウム結合のsigma共役に起因する新規な物性や反応性を明かにして新しい学問領域を開拓すると共に、その基礎的成果を基にし新しい高機能性材料としての可能性を明確にした。以下に具体例を示す。
新しい学問領域の開拓
1)ポリゲルマンの合成方法の確立…〓)ジクロロゲルマンとナトリウム金属の縮重反応、〓)無機ゲルミレンとGrignard試薬(または有機リチウム試薬)の反応により目的とするポリゲルマンを容易に合成することが出来た。
2)新規な物性に関する研究…特異な吸収と発光、低いイオン化電位、高い電子移動度の研究からポリゲルマンのゲルマニウム-ゲルマニウムsigma結合は炭素-炭素二重結合(pi結合)のような物性を示すことが明かになった。
3)擬pi結合反応性…特異な物性に基ずき、ポリゲルマンの光反応、触媒反応、電子移動反応、放射線化学の研究を行った。
高機能性材料としての研究
1)高速電子複写器の優れた感光剤
2)特異な熱情報変換素子
3)新しいセラミックスの前駆体
に関して研究し、報告した。
