Research Abstract	本研究は、短寿命核の天体核反応率と中性子過剰核(物質)の性質の研究を軸に、天体核現象を解明しようとするものである。前者は、「短寿命核ビーム」という新しい手法を活用した実験的研究を主眼とし、本年度は下記のような基礎研究を行なった。(ア)高効率超低バックグラウンドガンマ線検出器の製作:天然放射能の少ない材料及び光電子増倍管の使用により、格段にバックグラウンドの少ない検出器の製作に成功した。(イ)NeNaサイクルとNe-E問題の研究:不安定核^<24>Alの熱核反応率の実験と隕石中に見られる^<22>Neの同位体異常の解明に必要な^<22>Ne(p,γ)^<23>Mgの反応率の研究を開始した。後者では、^<24>Mg(p,d)反応で^<23>Mgの新準位をしきい値近傍に発見し、現在反応率の評価を進めている。(ウ)太陽ニュートリノの研究:^7Be(p,γ)^8B反応の融合断面積を、^8Bビームのクーロン分解反応を用いて測定する実験を開始した。予備測定は既に終了し、学術誌に近く発表予定である。さらに測定精度のよい測定をめざし、4mに及ぶ真空槽を製作した。本実験はこの真空槽内に全ての検出器を収納し、二次反応の無い低バックグラウンド環境を実現して実行する。後者は理論的研究を中心とし、ワークステーションの導入等により研究環境を整備し、さまざまな数値計算プログラムを開発しつつ下記の研究を展開した。(エ)大質量星の重力崩壊における自転効果の研究:2次元、3次元の流体計算を実施し、適当な角運動量をもっているときのみ鉄コア内対流が効果的に起こり、超新星爆発に至ることを示した。この結果の一部は既に論文として発表されている。(オ)相対論的多体論効果の研究:多数の不安定核にたいする系統的な数値計算を可能にする半現象論的ラグランジアンの構築に成功し、それに基づく中性子過剰核の質量や物質密度等の計算値は実験と良い一致を示すことを示した。(カ)高密度超新星物質と誕生時中性子星の研究:密度、2核子状態、陽子混在度に依存する2核子有効相互作用を用いた有限温度のハートリーフォック計算を実行し、現在論文にまとめている。
