Research Abstract	前2年度の実験的および理論的な研究の成果にもとづいて、今年度は行動を支配する脳の機能のいくつかの側面を明らかにすることができた。それは大きく4つのトピックに分けることができる。 1.視空間情報を運動情報に変化するアルゴリズムが実験的-理論的に解明された。小脳片葉には眼球速度成分をもつプルキンエ細胞がある(福島)。頭頂連合野LS皮質の微小刺激で2型の幅輳運動が誘発された(板東)。運動前野腹側部に、視覚座標空間と運動空間座標を反映するニューロンが独立に存在する(蔵田)。眼と手・足の位置の内部表現は脳内で独立に存在する(笠井)。眼球サッカードの適応がタイプによって独立に進む(藤田)。視覚運動制御のために必要な脳内内部モデルの構造を視覚運動変換の学習の汎化実験によって調べた(川人)。 2.運動の企画-構成-学習において、内部前頭皮質と大脳基底核が選択的に働くことが明らかになった。前補足運動野が運動企画や予期的構成に重要な役割をもつ(丹治)。前補足運動野と前方部線条体は新しい手続きの学習に、補足運動野と後方部線条体は十分に学習された手続きの遂行に関係する(彦坂)。黒質線条体ドーパミン系は複数の運動を一連の運動として習得する上で重要である(木村)。 3.小脳と大脳基底核が大脳皮質と交信するための基地である視床の役割を明らかにした。ネコの視床外側腹側核(VL)における、視床網様核由来の軸索終末の分布が明らかになった(中村泰尚)。大脳皮質から視床への興奮性及び制御性入力は小脳-視床-大脳投射系のSpatial focusingあるいはShifting active areasとして重要な機能的役割を担っている(藤田)。 4.これらの実験的研究は、脳全体のモデルを構成する試みに大きなはずみとなった。感覚刺激に対して適切な行動を選択する神経機構について神経回路モデルを構成した(中村清彦)。感覚・運動情報統合と操作信号の生成アルゴリズムの理論的、実験的研究を進めた(鈴木)。モデルPATONは、記憶したパターンの間を順次的な移動する状態遷移の機能を実現できる(大森)。
