Research Abstract	最終年次に当たるため、研究の一層の進展を図ると共に研究分担者の研究成果と総合的研究成果の取りまとめのため計画研究班の研究調整に意を注いだ。これを達成するため、計画研究、公募採択研究を含めた合同研究会議を2回開催し研究方向、狙いなどについて深く討議を行った。その際併せて総括班会議を開催し評価委員からの評価提言を受けて研究の進展に反映させた。また、関連領域における特に若手研究者の研究展開を図る目的で合宿形態のワークショップ「植物ホルモンと形」を開催し研究の現状、将来の方向等について討論する場を提供した。本領域研究の成果を一般にも広めるため公開講演会を1回開催すると共に班員間の連絡を密にするためニュースレターPHMレターを4回発行した。具体的な実施事項は以下の通りである。合同研究会議:平成8年7月22-23日(東京都);平成8年1月21日-22日(大阪市) 総括班会議:平成8年7月23日(東京都)、平成8年1月22日(大阪市) ワークショップ:平成8年10月25-26日(日間賀島)(参加者約50名) 公開シンポジウム:「植物ホルモンから植物の形を探る」平成8年1月20日(大阪市) 参加者70名企画調整会議:平成8年8月21日(東京)、10月24日(名古屋)、平成9年1月19日(名古屋) ニュースレターPHM発行:14,15,16,17号
