| Research Abstract |
1.領家変成帯・三波川変成帯・高松隕石孔,小笠原,丹沢において現地検討会をおこなった.
2.小田原において全体集会をおこなった.
3.最終年度に当たるために本総会研究のまとめとして,日本各地で提唱されている陸上学術ボーリング候補地を最終検討するとともに陸上学術ボーリングの申請書を作成し,その内容を1996年2月につくばで開催された国際シンポジウム“VIIIth International Symposium on the Observation of the Continental Crust through Drilling" において内外に公表するとともに,1996年3月の地球惑星科学関連学会1996年合同大会シンポジウム「陸上学術ボーリング」において討論する.
4.これらの活動内容はすべて「学術ボーリングニュースレター」および「研究成果報告書」によって内外の関係機関および研究者に送付した.
5.以上の日本国内における陸上学術ボーリング実現のための学術的検討と並行して,1993年にポツダムで開催された国際科学掘削計画の立案作業に関し,国際計画として実現させることができた.本総合研究の活動をふまえて1995年10月には日本学術会議から「対外報告」としてこの国際科学掘削計画に日本も参加するよう政府へ勧告がなされている.
