| Research Abstract |
本研究では自然言語による故障診断系のインターフェイスを実現を目指しての基礎研究を行ってきた。石川は対話の形式的表示の問題に関して、談話表示理論(DRT)に基づく表示構造(DRS)を研究し、共同執筆論文を2篇書いた。DRSを対話の表示に使うためには、信念の共有に関する表示方法の問題があり、再帰的な表示の必要性が明らかになった。再帰的表示を対話から構成する際には従来の集合論と異なるAczelのnon-well-founded setに基づくBarwise & Etchmendyの解決法を援用できることが分かっているが、これを論理プログラミングの証明過程に結び付ける方策を検討中である。さらに、本研究では対話における動的推論を取り扱う手法を目指しているので、DRSの中に出来事の順序を反映させるメカニズムが必要となる。現段階ではDRSから出来事の表示を抽出して時点を構成し、その時点に線形順序を与えるための条件を構成アルゴリズム中に導入する方法を検討している。この結果は本年度認知科学会大会で発表の予定である。植竹は日本語の「は」・「が」の問題を一般的なテーマ・レ-マ(theme,rheme)構造の観点から論理づける研究を行い、数篇の論文を発表した。型付きラムダ計算に基づくラムダ式をテーマ・レ-マ構造の表示に応用することで構成主義数学との関連が付き、関数的言語(functional languages)に関する研究の成果である明示的意味論との関連がついた。本年度はさらにこの研究を押し進める計画である。
