Research Abstract	本研究では,離散的問題に関して,離散構造がパラメタの変化に伴い動的な変化する問題や,将来のことがわからない状況で実時間的に最適化の要求を解いていく問題について,従来取り扱いにくかった問題に対する解決方法を与えることを目指している。本年度の研究では,まず動的および実時間環境での離散的最適化問題について,離散的なアプローチで新しい評価尺度のもとでの問題を考え,その有効性について調べた.これについては,共同研究者の古賀,S.Albersを中心に,オンライン環境下での計算機資源の有効利用の問題について,競合度という概念を尺度として定式化し,それについての諸問題の解析を行なうことができた.これは,従来のオンライン問題に対する待ち行列解析とは異なり,最悪の場合の面でも保証を与えるものである. また,計算幾何で従来から研究者グループが取り組んできた動的勢力圏図に関連して,球面上の幾何での精緻化を行なうとともに,連続的に変化するパラメタに関する問題としてクラスタリング問題に取り組み,パラメタの変化にも対応する統一的な枠組を与えて,実際に効率のよいクラスタリングのアルゴリズムを構成することができた.さらに,動的問題で必然的に生じてくる非線形性・実数演算について,共同研究者の小野を中心にそのような点に対して頑健な幾何アルゴリズムを構成することについても成果を上げた。また,動的な最適化問題に関しては,動的な最短路問題についてもA^*探索技法などの拡張を行なうことができた.また,色々な場面でのパラメタ指定に備えて,予め条件を充足する解全体をコンパクトに表現しておき,パラメタが指定されたときにすぐに答を求めるような枠組についても研究を始め,新しいアルゴリズムの構成など成果を上げることができた.
