| Research Abstract |
1.類洞周囲細胞(星細胞)の形態を制御する因子
星細胞は培養48時時間後に線維芽細胞様の形態に変化するが、Kupffer細胞培養上清、或いはプロスタグラディンE_2を添加するとin vivoでみられるような樹枝状突起をもつ形態に変化した。この反応は可逆的で、生体において星細胞の形態はKupffer細胞が放出するプロスタグランディンE_2によって制御されていることを示唆する。
2.類洞血流-類洞周囲腔間の液性交換促進機構の仮説
星細胞は類洞内皮の外側に長い突起で接着している一方、その突起から出る多数の棘状突起は類洞周囲腔中を斜に立ち上がりその先端を実質細胞に接着させている。星細胞は収縮することが明らかになったので、その収縮に際して棘状突起がさらに立ち上がり、肝細胞膜を引張り肝細胞間の憩室が拡大する。そのため類洞周囲腔は引圧になり類洞血流の液性成分は内皮の孔を通って周囲腔に流入する。星細胞が弛緩すると逆に周囲腔の液は類洞腔に流入する。代謝活動の激しい実質細胞に対して液性交換を促進する機構の存在を示唆する。
3.炎症時の類洞内リンパ球・単球の動態
位相差映画法で四塩化炭素障害肝における類洞内皮に多数のリンパ球や単球が接着している動態を観察した。
