| Research Abstract |
1 データ収集及びデータファイルの整備:
(1)1960-90年の期間に対して、5年間で我が国都市圏(1970年固定境界領域による86都市圏)別人口のデータファイルを整備した。
(2)東京都市圏域内5主要鉄道沿線地域別データ(1960-90)を整備した。
2 都市圏空間サイクルに関する数量的分析:ROXY指標分析を適用し、我が国の都市圏システム並びに5路線地域を対象として、集中化、分散化現象、及び都市化・郊外化現象に関する実証分析を行なった。
3 クラッセン仮設及びROXY指標の再吟味:「離散的線型地域」、「連続的線型地域」及び「連続的扇形地域」を対象として、ROXY指標値の標準化を試みた。
4 以上の研究経過の中から次の知見を得た。
(1)我が国都市圏システムのROXY指標値は、1970年後半以降は増加を続け、1985-90年の期間に対しては、30.0前後の値を示している。
(2)5路線地域に関する郊外化過程に見られるサブ・サイクルの周期は、アイゲン値分析によるとおよそ10-15年である。
(3)東京都市圏内人口分布変動を年令階層別に見ると、生産年令人口は老年人口に比較して、その郊外化速度は遙かに迅速である。
