Research Abstract |
(1) IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THE CLEANLINESS OF CRYSTAL SURFACE CAN BE QUANTITATIVELY STUDIED BY LOW-ENERGY ELECTRON TRANSMISSION SPECTROSCOPY (LEET) WHICH IS THE SIMPLEST ELECTRON SPECTROSCOPIC TECHNIQUE. (2) THE GROWTH OF WELL ORDERED MONO-MOLECULAR LAYER ON MoS_2 CRYSTAL SURFACE COULD BE DETECTED SENSITIVELY WITH LEET FOR PHTHALOCYANINE'S,BTQBT [bis (1,2,5-thiadiazolo) -p-quinobis (1,3-dithiole)] AND C_<60> WITHOUT INTRODUCING RADIATION DAMAGES INTO THE FILMS. (3) THE MOLECULAR ORIENTATION AND TWO-DIMENSIONAL STRUCTURE OF THIN FILMS OF PHTHALOCYANINE'S AND BEQBT ON MoS_2 SURFACES WERE DETERMINED WITH ANGLE-RESOLVED PHOTOELECTRON SPECTROSCOPY,HIGH-RESOLUTION ELECTRON ENERGY LOSS SPECTROSCOPY,LOW-ENERGY ELECTRON DIFFRACTION AND PENNING IONIZATION ELECTRON SPECTROSCOOPY.THE RESULTS OBTAINED BY THESE METHODS WERE CONSISTENT WITH THOSE BY LEET. (4) FOR AICI-PHTHALOCYANINE,WE FOUND THAT THE CI ATOM PROTRUDING OUTSIDE THE FILM SURFACE IN THE MOST STABLE STATE OF THE MONO-MOLECULAR LAYER.
