Research Abstract |
The object of this research is the administration of Edo-city in the feudal age (early modern) through the use of the law for Edo-city (Machibure). The results are three points, as follow. 1. The method of transmission for low is convinced of a few style in a concrete form. 2. As the town official in the every town, the functionary of Nanushi (headman) and Gatsu-gyoji (monthly duty) is not distinct to allotment, on purpose, to attach great importance to the monthly duty. 3. Organization of Edo-city during the feudal age turn up to regulation with population and mechanism, for example HIkeshi-gumi (groupe of fireman) And append the some materials to my collections, for example "Meiwa-shohoroku" "Machikata-nikki". These materials use for <Edo Machibure Shusei> , publishing by my groupes.
