Research Abstract |
The purpose of this research project is to study the partial differential equations by the method of complex analysis. Namely, applying the various results in the complex analysis to the partial differential equations, we analyze the structure of the solutions and their complex analytic behaviors. We also purpose to study the complex analysis by using the theory of partial differential equations. The contributions of the members of this research project consist of the various fields : Partial differential equations, Complex analysis, Algebra, Number theory, Differential Geometry, Topology, Stochastic Process, and Numerical Analysis. Our collaboration and the mutual discussion may be able to study successively our subject. Grant-In-Aid for Scientific research (C) has enabled us to cover the travel expenses to participate in the symposia, seminars, formal and informal meetings in related topics and fields. Thus, during 1993-94, Our results obtained by these activities have been published in mathematical journals and others. We hope that our results will contribute to the promotion of the research in the field.
