| Research Abstract |
Microcystic meningiomaは光顕的に多数のmicrocystより構成され,腫瘍細胞がchickenwire様の組織像を呈するmeningiomaの一亜型である。従来,microcyst形成機序に関し,変性として理解されることが多かった。
奈良県立医大およびその関連病院より,手術・剖検により得られたmeningiomaを,micro-cystic typeを含め,集めた。次に光顕的にmicrocystic componentの有無を検索し,免疫組織化学的にEMA,Vimentin,GST-piの免疫染色を行い,検討した。最後に,電顕的検索を行い,meningiomaであること,光顕的microcystがextracellular spaceの拡大であることを確認し,microcystic meningiomaがarachnoid trabecular cellへの分化であることを再確認した。
