Research Abstract

We treat many kinds of social problems in social studies. In the social probslems, there are a political problem, an economic problem, an environment problem, and other many problems. When we make teaching materials from social problem, we need a method to classify them.
Research on a social dilemma is available as a method for that.
In this research project, we studied about the method that made teaching merials of social studies to make use of social dilmma research.
We selected an environment problem as teaching materials that had structure of a social dilemma.
We made a lesson plan on this environment problem in junior high school and gave lessons.
