Research Abstract	本研究は、要素間の相互作用が互いに競合している系(コンプレックスな系)に固有な、新しいタイプの相転移とダイナミックスを明らかにすることにある。本年度はほぼ当初の計画に沿って、高山・鈴木・都を順次フランスグループへ派遣、また、Orbach・Campbell・Mydosh(研究協力者)を招へい、共同研究推進のために研究打ち合せ・討論を行なった。尚、Orbach・Campbell・Hammann(研究協力者で本年度の学振短期招へい者)の来日が重なった10月に筑波大学に本研究の国内研究分担者・協力者が参集し、密接な研究討議を行なった。その結果、これまでに多くの研究成果が得られている。そのうちの主な成果は以下の通りである。1)スピングラスCuMnの熱残留磁化におけるAging現象について、その磁場効果を詳細に観測した(Orbach)。2)μSR実験からスピングラスのスピン緩和時間が常磁性相においても広く分布していることを明らかにした(Campbell)。3)SQUIDの手法により、粒状の高温超伝導体(La_1._8Sr_0._2CuO_4)のもつゲージグラス特性を解析した(Ocio)。4)ウラン族化合物UAl_2における近藤効果特性を解析し、U(Ru_<(1-X)>Rh_X)_2Si_2における複雑な逐次反強磁性転移を観測した(都)。5)ハイゼンベルグおよびイジングスピングラス模型におけるスピン緩和時間分布を直接測定するシミュレーションを行い、これらの系における緩和特性を明らかにした(高山)。これらの成果を踏まえて、より具体的な共同研究の課題として、スピングラスにおける緩和特性に関して、実験とシミュレーション結果(1),2)と4))とを詳細に比較検討すること、4)の逐次反強磁性転移に関して磁場中磁化の多段階転移を測定すること、等を取り上げ、次年度に向けて現在すでにその研究を進めている。
