Research Abstract

1)精密構造解析用電子顕微鏡のためのオメガフィルターを作製した。その性能テストを行いエネルギーフィルターとして十分働くことを確認した。一層の性能向上のためにさらに改良を行った。オメガフィルターを電子顕微鏡に組み込んで動作させるための電顕本体の改造およびオメガフィルターを稼働するためのソフトウェアを作成した。
2)精密構造解析を妨げる最大の原因であるプラズモン散乱を異なる元素から成る多種の物質についてオメガフィルターを用いて調べた。軽元素からなる物質ほどプラズモン散乱の効果が大きいことを見出した。
3)構造解析用ソフトウェアの改良を引き続き行った。非中心対称結晶であるCdSについて決定すべき構造パラメーターを増して予備的構造解析を行った。
準結晶の構造解析のために高次元空間での断面法による構造因子計算のプログラムを作成した。それを用いてAl-Cu-Coの収束電子回折強度の計算を開始した。
