| Research Abstract |
電気伝導性現象に於ける局在電子と偏歴電子との相関関係を明らかにすることを目指して、次のような成果を得た。1)中心に各種金属イオンの挿入が可能なテトラアザポルフィリンを発色団に選び、これにテトラチアフルバレンが縮環した化合物を設計し、合成を開始した。しかし、テトラチアフルバレンの形成段階で反応がうまく進行しなかった。現在、異なる合成経路を用いて合成を行っている。2)テトラアザポルフィリンの周辺に8個のアルキルチオ基を有する化合物をアルキル基の長さを系統的に変化させて、アルキル基のファスナ-効果によって分子間相互作用を増大させて高導電性の発現を期待した。アルキル鎖長としては2、4、6、8、10、14、18のものを合成した。構造確認は元素分析、NMR、可視紫外吸収スペクトルなどで行った。いずれの化合物も溶液中の物性に関しては顕著な差異は認められなかったが、示差熱解析によって固相から液相になるエンタルピーとエントロピーを求めるとアルキル鎖長の増加に伴いいずれも直線的に増加することが判った。予備的な電気伝導度の測定の結果アルキル鎖長6のものは4のものに比べ約10倍の電気伝導度が向上しており、アルキル基のファスナ-効果が存在することが判明した。
