Research Abstract	本総括研究班は、固体内の電子が強く相関して発現するメタ磁性転移、異方的超伝導、ギャップ近藤状態を3重点課題とし、その発生機構を解明する重点領域研究「強相関伝導系の物理」にあって、実験・理論の密接な協力のもとに構成した結晶育成班、物性評価班、理論班及び公募研究者の研究組織の円滑な運営を図りながら、各研究者間の情報交換、協力体制を緊密にし、領域研究の発展・効率化を図ることを研究目的としている。そのため、 1.領域全体が参加する研究会及び3重点課題を推進するため不可欠な結晶育成班主体の研究会をまず開催する。 2.情報交換のためのニュースレターの発行。3.総括班会議、班長会議の開催。などを企画した。その結果、 1.領域研究全体の基礎となる結晶育成班主導の「世界に太刀打ちできる物質探索」の研究会を11月初旬に広島で、また領域全体の研究課題として、「f電子系か絡む異方的超伝導現象」を中心とした研究会を1月の初旬に東京工業大学理学部で公開で開催し、それぞれ研究成果報告書にまとめて印刷し公表した。 2.ニュースレターを2回発行し、研究者間に情報の交流を促した。 3.総括班会議(広島、東京)及び班長会議(大阪)を開催し、研究計画の立案と研究の遂行の円滑化を図った。特に今年度はCeRu_2Si_2、UPd_2Al_3やUPt_3など超高純度単結晶の育成化による遍歴・局在性、異方的超伝導の解明に顕著な進展があった。当初留保された研究費の還元配分13、200千円は、緊急に必要となった物性評価のための試料成形用の放電加工機と結晶評価のためのカメラ用X線装置、及びウラン化合物探索・結晶育成のために必要なウラン金属原料の購入費用として支援を行った。年度末まで納入設置され、研究成果を挙げられる体制にある。
