Research Abstract	1.重い電子系UPt_3の超伝導の対称性と機構の同定上記の問題について本重点領域の実験グループからKnight shiftがないことが示された。これは町田らが主張している三重項超伝導を支持するものである。UPt_3の超伝導はいよいよ最終段階に入った。 2.近藤絶縁体CeNiSnは最近の実験により半金属と思われている。その電子状態の新しい理論的モデルを三宅らが提出した。 3.四重極モーメントにからむ近藤効果について酒井、斯波、三宅が取り組み、いくつかの成果を得た。実験グループの結果への説明も一部では可能になってきた。来年度はより重要な課題になると思われる。 4.四重極秩序の理論が倉本らにより展開された。 5.希土類およびアクチナイド化合物のバンド計算が長谷川グループによりひき続き遂行されている。特にCeRu_2、CeCo_2、CeRh_2のバンド計算がなされた。
