| Research Abstract |
「がんの診断、治療、予防法の開発に向けて、ブレークスルーを求めるがんの先端的基礎研究を進める」ことを目的とした、本領域の効率よい推進のための活動を行った。がんの分子生物学の分野で特に優れた研究を推進するために、研究組織の企画と研究成果の評価を行うとともに、がん研究を推進する若手研究者のシンポジウムを行って研究交流を図り、また他領域のがん重点領域との連携を計りバランスのとれががん研究の促進を支援した。
さらに、がんの分子生物学の推進には蛋白に対する特異的な抗体が必須となる。効率良く研究を推進するため、班員の要求に応じて抗体作成を目的としたペプチドの合成サービスを実行し、実質的な成果をあげた。
1)7回の総括班会議を他領域の総括班と合同で開き、領域推進のための計画研究を企画すると共に、連携をもった運営を行った。
2)4回の柱長会議をもち、領域内での研究連携を討論し、実行した。
3)領域の全体会議および進捗状況報告会を開き、研究上の連携を促進すると共に、研究の評価を行った。
4)ペプチド合成サービスを行い、約100本のペプチドを合成し、班員の研究を支援した。
5)がん研究における若手研究者によるシンポジウムを行い、研究を推進している若手間での交流を図り、予想以上の成果を挙げた。
