非弾性効果を考慮した電子・イオンスオーム過程とその応用

Research Abstract

研究計画に基づいて、第1班(理論)、第2班(実験)、第3班(応用研究)の3班が、他の班との密接な連携をとりつつ、以下の研究課題に取り組んだ。
○第1班:土手、田頭、生田、真壁、佐藤、近藤。
非弾性及び非等方性効果を取り入れたボルツマン方程式の解について積極的な議論を行い、実験結果解析の具体的方針を決定した。これに従って、マトリクス数値解析法による希ガス中の電子速度分布の緩和過程、混合希ガス中の電子輸送計数の拡張ブランの法則、シランガス中の非平衡電子輸送のモデル化等の研究を行った。
○第2班:武部、旗野、中村。
イオンの移動度における非弾性効果の影響を、可変温度型ドリフチューブ実験により確認した。電子の移動度及び拡散計数を、酸素、酸素/アルゴン混合系、CF_4の3種類のガス中で測定し、第1班の成果を基礎に非弾性衝突断面積のエネルギー依存性を決定した。高密度キセノン気体中での電子の移動度、及び電子/イオンの再結合係数の測定を行い、従来の理論では説明不可能な再結合機構が存在することを指摘した。
○第3班:藤本、橘、桜井、嶋森、柴田、藤井。
パルスレーザー光、電子ビームを計測手段として、放電プラズマ中準安定原子の温度測定、その誘電体表面近傍での振舞い、電子付着気体中での電子の熱平衡化過程等の研究を行った。更に、原子法レーザ同位体分離をガドリニウムに適用しイオン回収効率を上げる研究や、気体放電下で生成されるクーロン結晶の研究を行った。
以上の、理論、実験、応用の有機的連携のもとに組織的に行われた研究の成果は、非弾性効果を考慮した電子・イオンスウォーム過程理解のために、今後少なからず貢献するものと思われる。
