Research Abstract |
The decentrallized heating and cooling systems using ground heat storage have been evaluated. The results are as follows. (1) Measuring soil temperatures and proposing the way of predicting them in three regions in Japan. (2) Testing and simulating the effect on air temperature drop when air flow through a cool tube under the ground. It is found that cool tubes are effective to indoor natural cooling. (3) Experimenting ground source heat pumps for heating using ground vertical pipes. The results are that ground source heat pumps are beneficial to energy saving and the cold thermal energy stored in the ground by heat pumps can be used efficiently to domestic natural cooling in summer. (4) Calculating the energy conservation for heating and cooling to an ecological dome with the ground heat storage. It is found the utilization of ground heat storages is effective for heating and natural cooling. (5) Experimenting and simulating the characteristics of the heat core storage systems using solar heat for heating and cooling. It is cleared that the heat core storage has high efficiency of heat storage, heating & cooling systems and renewable energy uses. (6) Respecting an aquifer heat storage, the flowing aquifer heat storage with ground water charge is one of the effective renewable energy systems from the energy saving and water cleaning points of view.
