Research Abstract	初年度に製作したイメージングプレートX線小角散乱測定装置を用いて,溶液中のビスフェノールAポリカーボネート及びヒアルロン酸(Na塩)試料の回転半径、粒子散乱関数を測定した。それらの実験と並行して,光散乱,沈降平衡,粘度,施光度、電気複屈折等の測定を行い、希薄及び濃厚溶液(液晶を含む)の静的・動的物性を前年度に引き続き研究した。また,実験結果の解析に関連して理論的研究も行った。今年度に得られた主な成果は以下のとうりである。1.テトラヒドロフラン中のポリカーボネート及びNaCl中(添加塩濃度0.02Mと0.1M)のヒアルロン酸のX線小角散乱曲線はみみず鎖に独特の角度依存性を示し,データ解析から得られた持続長は固有粘度からの値と良く一致した。2.これらの高分子についてX線小角散乱より分子量の関数として得た回転半径も光散乱からの回転半径データのみならず、散乱関数および固有粘度データとも首尾一貫してみみず鎖の理論によって記述された。3.非電解質半屈曲性高分子の回転半径と固有粘度への分子内排除体積効果は,鎖の堅さに依らず,準二定数理論の枠内で定量的に説明できることを見い出した。4.シ-タ点近傍でのトランスデカリン中のポリスチレンの三体クラスター積分は温度に依らず殆ど一定であることが初めて明らかにできた。5.ポリヘキシルイソシアナ-ト溶液の異方性散乱データと電気複屈折データ(Kerr定数)及びシゾフィラン溶液のKerr定数は尺度可変粒子理論によってほぼ定量的に説明できた。6.半屈曲性高分子の液晶溶液に対するFrankの弾性定数及びコレステリックピッチを理論的に定式化した。7.ポリヘキシルイソシアナ-トのネマチック溶液に微量の光学活性ポリイソシアナ-トを添加すると、協同的分子間相互作用によりコレステリック構造が誘起されことを見い出した。さらにコレステリックピッチの実測値が理論的に説明できた。
