Research Abstract |
The aim of my research project is to embed Anglo-American applied ethics into the context of contemporary Japanese society. To attain this end, I have developped the methodology of applied ethics combining Rawisian "reflective equilibrium" and Foucaudian "power/knowledge".And I have surveyed five topics of applied ethics as below. (1) equality and discrimination. (2) business ethics. (3) war and peace. (4) bioethics. (5) environmental ethics.
