Research Abstract |
IN THIS EDUCATIONAL YEAR,IHAVE CONDUCTED TWO QUESTIONNAIRE RESEARCH. THE ONE IS TO PRIMARY AND JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHRES TO ASK THEIR LIVES,WORKS AND CULTURE,ESPECIALLY THE LEVEL OF AUTONOMY CONCERNING THEIR PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE. THE OTHER IS TO ALREADY RETIRED PRIMARY AND JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS TO ASK THE EVENTS OR ACCIDENTS ON THE PROCESS OF THEIR TEACHERS'LIVES. IN THE FORMER RESEARCH,IFOUND THAT THE SOCIAL SIGHTS OF TEACHRES ARE RATHER NARROW,THEN THEY HAVE THEIR OWN SOCIETY AND SOME LEVEL OF THE AUTONOMY.BUT ITS AUTONOMY IS NOT CLOSELY RELATED TO THE PUBLIC CONCERNS. IN THE LATTER RESEARCH,IFOUND THAT THERE ARE SOME GENERATION GAPS IN SEVERAL AGE GROUPS OF TEACHERS IN THEIR OPINIONS CONCERNING EDUCATION AND CHILDREN.THERE ARE ALSO SOME IMPORTANT CHANGES OF SITUATIONS,CONDITIONS AND ATMOSPHERE OF THE DAILY LIVES OF JAPANESE SCHOOLS.AND THESE IMPORTANT CHANGES HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCED BY THE RETIRED TEACHERS,AND SO THEIR ANSWERS TO MY QUESTIONS CAN BE LOCATED IN THE PROCESS OF THE HISTORICAL CHANGES OF JAPANESE SCHOOL SYSTEM AFTER W.W.II.
