| Research Abstract |
1.距離正則グラフの研究においてr(Γ)=l(c_1,a_1,b_1)が有界であるかは大問題で、中心的問題である。それには、l(c,a,b)【less than or equal】r(Γ)+1というIvanovの予想の解決。r(Γ)はvalency kの関数でおさえられるかという問題など部分的な問題がある。r(Γ)【greater than or equal】2とした時距離正則グラフは位数(s,t)という型となり付随するincicdenceグラフFが自然に定義される。今年度はこのFの正則性とそれからみちびき出されるΓの様々な性質に関する研究が大いに進展した。知られているものはFが、DBR又はRNPとなるものが殆どであるが、その二つのいいクラスを含む距離半正則グラフという概念を導入し、Fがこの条件DSRとなる条件をΓの固有値及びパラメターの条件から求めた。これにより位数(s,z)のものの分類が飛躍的に簡易化された。
2.上のDSRという条件はTerwilligenのSubconstituent algebraのtrivial moduleがthinたという条件と深くかかわっていることがわかり、このいみで表現論が大いに活用できることが証明された表現論の構造論への応用はまだはじまったばかりであるが、今後大いに進展することが期待できる。
