Schrodinger作用素の固有値問題
-Δu(x)+V(x)u(x)=λu(x) λ>0
を考える.Neumann-Wignerの例によれば
V(x)=-k(sin2r)/r+O(r^<-2>) as r=|x|→∞
という形のポテンシャルでλ=1を固有値とするものが存在することが知られている.荒井正治氏(立命館大学)との共同研究により,λ>0が固有値になることと,実定数kの大きさとは関連するということがかなり詳しく分かってきた.
また最近,正の固有値を複数個持つようなポテンシャルの構成にも成功した.
