| Research Abstract |
1.一般の曲面運動方程式に対して、これまで陳-儀我-後藤及びEvans-Spruckの粘性解による等高曲面法の理論を更に発展させ、特に、界面が接触したり消えたりするとき特異点が生じた後もその運動を追跡できるという等高面法の特徴を十分に活用して、異方性を含んだ方程式の粘性解及びその等高面で表す曲面の運動の漸近挙動を調べた。その結果、特異点が生じる前後の状況、解が消滅する時間の評価などができた。また、障害物がある場合の曲面運動モデルも研究し、有効な解析方法を開発した。現在、更にモデル及び解の詳しい状況を調べている。
2.曲面運動の典型的モデルである平均曲率運動の等高面方程式に対する差分スキームを改善し、差分法の安定性を理論的に証明した。また、この方法のアイディアを生かし、ある種の特異性を持つ拡散方程式の数値解析を行って、その広義解の性質の解析的研究にとって重要な参考データを得た。
3.既存ののパソナールコンピュータ、ワークステーションによる上記の特異拡散方程式の数値計算を行うと同時に、計算データ処理するための設備の向上も進めてきた。そのため、今年度設備備品費として外付けのCD-ROM装置購入予定の【less than or equal】0,000という項目があったが実際には内蔵式のCD-ROM装置,MO(光磁気ディスク)装置及びコンピュータソフトの価額下げもあって、予算内でこれらを
