Research Abstract

Throughout of this reseach we have investigated three probelms. 1)Internucleon interaction ; It is said a difficulty of the Skyrme model that the model cannot reproduce the attractive spin-isospin independent potential in the intermediate range. We reseached the problem in the sine-Gordon laboratory, where the exact two-soliton wave functions are obtained. We reache to the conclusions that since the intersoliton potential is of O(N_c), the nonstatic efect on the two-soliton configuration cannot be discarded, that the iterative method adopted by previous authors contains an essential deffect, and that the two-soliton scattering amplitude cannot necessarily have a large N_c limit. 2)We researched low energy theorems in the photoinduced reactions and electromagnetic polarizabilities of the nucleon in the correct method within the Skyrme model. Low energy theorems are obtained up to the next-to-leading order in the pion mass. We showed that elctromagnetic polarizabilities are the same as the chiral perturbative theory at leading order of the pion mass and that the DELTA contributions are explicitly calculated. 3)Pion and kaon couplings to hyperons are investigated in the bound-state approch to the Skyrme model. Our method is based on the method developed for the Yukawa coupling problem by us. Results are very encouraging. We have shown through our research that the Skyrme model is an excellent effective model of the low energy meson-baryon system of with very wide range of applicability.
