| Research Abstract |
1.Q^2発展方程式
Altarelli-ParisiのQ^2発展方程式を速くかつ正確に解くことができるコンピュータープログラムを検討した。Laguerre多項式を用いた方法を研究し、特に荷クォーク分布と構造関数F_3に関するα_S高次項の補正を入れたAltarelli-Parisi方程式の数値解を求めるプログラムを作製し、約20項のLaguerre展開で十分な精度の結果を得ることに成功した。この時SUN-IPXまたはVAX-4000/500を用いて計算したところCPU時間は数秒であり数値解法と比べても非常に短い時間で求められることがわかった。現在、フレーバー一重項の数値解と原子核内のQ^2発展方程式を研究中である。
2.原子核内のバ-トン分布[(u-d)_A,F^A_3(x)]
原子核内で異なる核子に属するパートンの相互作用を考慮することにより原子核内でのu(x)-d(x)を計算した結果、核子内でu=dであっても原子核媒質の効果により原子核内で有限なu-d分布が得られることが判明した。従って、原子核を標的としたDrell-Yan実験をしu(x)-d(x)を求めGottfried総和則との対応を研究する場合慎重な検討が必要である。
次に構造関数F_3における原子核の効果を解析した。この研究では2つの異なった理論による模型(parton-recombination型模型とaligned-jet模型)を検討した。その結果、2つの模型は小さいx領域で非常に異なった振る舞いをすることが判明した。この2つの模型はF_2では同じように影散乱を説明しているが小さいx領域でのF_3を研究することによりどちらの模型の方がより的確に影散乱のメカニズムを記述しているのか判定できる。また、F_2の実験データとバリオン数保存則を用いて小さいx領域で原子核の構造関数F_3のとり得る範囲を評価し、上記の模型による予測との比較を行った。
