| Research Abstract |
平成6年度は実験材料のホタルブクロを用いて,圃場で実験を行った。伊豆諸島の各島および本州各地からホタルブクロを採集し,花のサイズの異なる人工集団を作り出した。サイズに大きな変異のあるホタルブクロの花を昆虫に呈示し,昆虫の訪花頻度を測定した。訪花昆虫はマルハナバチ・ハキリバナ・コハナバチの3グループであった。昆虫のグループにより花のサイズに対する反応のパターンは異なっていた。ハキリバチは大きな花を選択的に訪花したのに対し,マルハナバチとコハナバチでは花のサイズに対してあまり訪花頻度に差は少なく,コハナバチはどちらかというと小さな花を選択する傾向が認められた。この実験の一部はChapman & Hallから出版予定のFloral Biologyで述べられる予定である。
キバナアキギリについては,野外から実験材料の採集を行った。
平成7年度はアイソザイムの遺伝的マーカーを用いて,同様の実験を行い,花粉の分散についての定量的なデータを採る予定である。
