Research Abstract |
There are many intelligent elements in a manufacturing system, and it is important to control them in a cooperational condition. Moreover, to develop an automated intellingent manufacturing system, it is necessary to make clear a harmonized cooperating control way and conceptual construction method for knowledge acquisition in actual process. Analysing the knowledge of skilled workers, determinations are conducted with the intutive decision tables and heuristic approaches. The learning method of human is mainly dependent on the relationship between an action and its result, that is correspondent to the analyzed data and evaluation items. Therefore, an intelligent decision making method was developed in this project, considering the conceptual construction method with self-learning process for autonomous harmonized manufacturing system. Fundamental research was carried out regarding the following two subjects for two years. (1) Conceptual Construction Making Process for configuration similarity. (2) Intelligent Robot-Vision System for Machining Cell-Engraving a Wood Block by Robot-. Through a numerous practical exercises, the validity of proposed system has been proved with valuable results.
