Research Abstract |
In Japan, sericultural protection policy is called as "Jigyodan" system. The policy instruments of Jigyodan system consist of two components : (1)price stabilization policy by buffer stocks (2)trade restrective policy After 1994, Post Urguay Round, combination of policy instruments was changed. The change is from price stabilization policy by buffer stocks in import quota system to same price stabilization policy in tarifff quota. So we compared the difference of economic effects, economic welfare and resource allocation by this system change. And we made it clear that price stabilization policy by buffer stocks is incompatible with tariff quota.
