| Research Abstract |
これまでにラットの坐骨神経切断後の脱神経筋、パチニ小体の形態的検索の結果、再生筋細胞の出現とパチニ小体の神経終末の変性消失、内外棍細胞の維持などの知見を得た。さらに臨床例の脱神経筋、脱神経後のパチニ小体の構造変化についても知見を得た。
また、これらの基礎研究の結果と屍体解剖結果をもとに、臨床例の神経麻痺に対する新しいオリジナルな手術法である血管柄付神経移植の応用を開始し、世界に先駆けたい長い(30cm)遊離血管柄付深腓骨神経移植術の腕神経叢麻痺への応用(J.Reconstr.Microsurg.12:131-141,1996)、長い(20cm)神経付き遊離神経血管柄付大腿直筋または腹直筋移植術(Plast.Reconst.Surg.,94:421-430,1994,&Plast.Reconstr.Surg.Jan.1997)の陳旧性顔面神経麻痺への応用を、海外に先駆けて独自に完成させた。また、これまでの実験的、臨床的成果より新たに"分割した神経血管柄付筋移植術“を臨床的に開発し、一期的な複数の筋の機能再建が可能となり、顔面神経麻痺(J.Reconstr.Microsurg.,accepted)と腕神経叢麻痺のより複雑な動的再建術が開発された。さらに、これまでの実験結果から得られた結果をもとに、臨床例の陳旧性顔面神経麻痺、完全型腕神経叢麻痺など難治性神経麻痺に対する血管柄付神経移植術を確立した(The 12th International Synposium of Reconstructive Microsurgery, Singapore, Feb.1996にて発表)。
